“AWARD-WINNING DJ, MUSIC PRODUCER & FILMMAKER
Paimon Alipour”

Musician | Producer | Composer | DJ

Paimon Alipour is a genre-bending artist whose work bridges the worlds of music, performance, and visual storytelling. A second-generation Iranian-American raised in Iowa City, Iowa, Paimon found his creative calling early—producing beats at 16 and spinning at local parties before breaking into professional residencies across the country.

Self-taught on piano, guitar, bass, and drums, his sound is deeply rooted in the soul of live instrumentation, layered with the textures of analog synths and modern production. Drawing from the legacies of G-Funk, Disco Funk, Neo-Soul, and Alt-R&B, Paimon’s music channels the emotional complexity of love, struggle, and transformation—balancing groove with introspection, nostalgia with innovation.

In 2017, he expanded his creative output to filmmaking. His visual projects, including the award-winning documentary DJ Paimon: 100% and the conceptual short film Soul De Selene, received recognition at independent film festivals for their immersive storytelling and cinematic aesthetic.

Paimon’s remixes have aired on major stations like Power 106 and KISSFM, while his original work has been featured in high-profile placements, including the 2020 thriller Spree. His production has also appeared on mixtapes by artists such as Mike Posner, Nina Sky, and Z-Trip.

With over 170,000 followers and 30 million views on TikTok, Paimon continues to shape the future of music and visual culture—blending timeless soul with forward-thinking sound design. Currently focused on music for sync licensing, he brings his distinct sonic palette to screens and speakers worldwide.
